KEF 103/3's- keep them or move on?

I am worried about the long term serviceability of the Kube that goes with my 103/3s. I have read here and elsewhere that they were not built well, the quality of the internals is not great, that schematics for them are hard to come by, and I know that the 103/3’s in particular do not sound right without it.

Part with them or move on?

If I do move on, I have not been able to find any reputable reviews on the 103/3 to know how they how they rated, or what would be comparable today.

Well, I have the Kube for the 103/3s being evaluated by a guy named Casper who really seems to know his stuff - at a place called Stereo Rehab in Chicago.  I'm taking the 103/3s this weekend to a place named Van L Speakerworks (also in Chicago) for restoration.  They also seem to have a great reputation for their work.  I'll be interested to see what their opinions are on both.  Feel lucky to have such resources close by.
