K&H 0300's in a large room

Will these work in a large room, 20x20? I've been reading about them in the pro forums, half the people love them and half the people say they won't go loud enough because of the built in limiters. I realize that they are designed for nearfield use but they are rated 112.5db max spl. People say they start limiting at 85 to 95db. I dunno :)

As a reference, I've had Proac Sig. 8's driven by Krell in the room and they were plenty loud. Unfortunatly I never took any SPL readings with my meter, so I don't have any idea how loud they were in SPL.
