JVC VL8 Tonearm weight

I have a vintage JVC VL8, that my dad owned since new, and he gifted it to me.  I have it running an AT ART9, and it sounds fantastic.  But, I have often wondered if the ART9 is a good match.  I've searched high and low, but cannot find the weight of the tonearm.  It is an S-shaped arm, and is aluminum or some type of alloy.  I don't want to take it apart just to weigh it, but I'm curious.

Does anyone know the effective weight of this tonearm?

What you want is the "effective mass" of the tonearm, which is not the same as the "weight" of the tonearm.

Removing/weighing the tonearm would be a waste of time/energy.

My guestimate is that the effective mass of your tonearm is in the 13-15 gram range, based upon the various cartridges it successfully tracks.
