Just when you thought it was safe to go 16:9..

Has anyone seen the new 21:9 "cinematic" LCD HDTV being introduced by Philips? It's a 56" super-widescreen monitor with a native 2.39:1 aspect ratio.

It should be an awesome TV for watching movies shot in "scope"! -jz

I can't wait to hook up my Betamax VCR, my Laserdisk player, and my HD-DVD player to this new format TV!
