Jim Morrison/The Doors/Isle of Wight Concert

While drinking my coffee this morning, I was on Rolling Stones' website and played a video clip of the Doors' "When the Music's Over" at their live concert on the Isle of Wight in 1970, their last concert that was filmed. Morrison at his best. Knocked my socks off! What a powerful performance. Curious if anyone has seen the entire concert on DVD.

This crossed my radar today;
this set will be offered in DVD/CD and BR/CD options for now via Goldmine.com
The announcement has not mentioned anything about Vinyl at this time.

I went back on the Rolling Stone site to check out the Doors clip again and missed the announcement that the entire Isle of Wight Doors concert will be released this Friday on DVD and Blu-ray. Yeah! Off to the Movie store this Saturday.

The Doors fans are hoping for this release. When JM was "on" those performances were otherworldly, to state the least. Amazing talent with those musicians. Every week I listen to the first or self-titled disc.

Nope- I believe there is a very active thread over on the Hoffman site though. I'd love to check it out. So far, I only have Felt Forum, and Absolutely Live. Both on Vinyl of course!
