I own the D2's and the Wyred and I think they are a great combo, but the Rowland looks good. Both preamps have very low output impedance and will work well with the Emotiva's low input impedance.
The only issue I can see is that the Rowland looks to be a active pre and the Wyred is a active passive. If you are doing really long cable runs between the amps and the preamp then opt for the active. If not then either preamp will be fine. If you are really down to just these two choices it would be worth it to audition them and not worry about the financial hit you take when you return the one you don't want.
I can tell you that I am absolutely in love with both my Wyred and my Tylers.
