I was stunned to see this on the news this morning. May Jeff RIP and I hope he is jamming with the other metal greats who have passed on.

the talent that the band had was underrated---the chemistry, focus and music was amazing. just listen to the guitar solos of "divine intervention" s/t track, just amazing and beautiful..always thought the first solo could've been heard in a michael jackson or rolling stones song. reign in blood, south of heaven, even their rendition of cover tunes on undisputed attitude--beautiful music, even if not your idea of beauty.
