Jcat network xe on pc server for roon

I got Weiss dac 501 with an integrated streamer, now I want to build pc for a server ( currently using mac mini for roon core) and want to put Jcat network xe card in my pc.
My question is, am i going to improve my sound with just jcat network card ( using my dacs streamer ) or should i go full on USB and net cards with lpsu of course, so i totaly avoid streamer in my dac. My idea is to start with jcat network card in terms of getting cleaner signal but i herd that it is better if i go over usb and net card altogether. Hope my question is clear.:)

Current setup is weiss dac with built in streamer, ansuz network switch and mac mini 2012 just for roon core. my dac has an roon end point as well as upnp, usb, spdif, aes ebu....

Any opinion is welcome.

Thanks,

Branko

Howard Kneller at "The Listening Chair" has a two-part Youtube review for these products. They were posted about 6 months ago at his Youtube page. He liked both products very much.

However, there may be other ways to go that might be cheaper.

I built a Windows PC solely for digital music about 6 months ago, and I’m delighted with how it sounds in my system. For now, I’m running a USB cable from the PC motherboard to my DAC. I’d personally consider the JCAT cards, but I need to spend my money on other system improvements first.

Thanks a lot! is it same qualiy solution or just good value solution with slightly lower performance?

can you post the link ?

Here’s a possible solution to reduce network noise with your internet connection:

https://www.smallgreencomputer.com/collections/systemoptique/products/opticalmodule-deluxe

The components you’d need would cost just over $700.

For a PC card, this might work:

https://www.pinkfaun.com/shop/bridge/45-4484-pink-faun-spdif-bridge.html#/194-bracket_height-120_mm_47_inch

Pink Faun is out of stock on their USB bridge cards. The link above is for a PC bridge with various coax outputs. Might not be what you’re looking for.

I can’t vouch for any of these products, personally. But, you should be able to find plenty of reviews for them. Some of the folks who post here use Small Green Computer products, perhaps they'll chime in here.

Also, if you look in the digital forum, there are some very good threads on reducing network noise.
