JBL C36 Restoration

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I recently acquired a pair of JBL C36 speakers. 
They appear to have the S5 configuration according to the JBL Heritage website. 
They were well taken care of. They look very nice. 
The sound, however, is quite muffled. I imagine they at least need a crossover rebuild. 
Does anyone know of a “speaker whisperer” in the Los Angeles area?  Someone knowledge in the speaker restoration field?
