Jazz suggestions please

Hello,

I recently started to listen to alot of Jazz Lps and I would like to expand my knowledge with some of your suggestions. I've listend to a veriety of styles and periods and what I've liked the most and WOULD LIKE TO STICK WITH are the sounds of Oscar Peterson, David Brubeck, Bill Evans, Ray brown (love that bass). Any other suggestion along those lines would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Shahens- check out the thread "Live Jazz Trio Recordings"
below. There are a number of excellent recordings worth
checking out.

If you're looking to build a collection, suggest you pick
up a Concord Jazz catalog. Lots of great music and deals.

Had the pleasure of hearing Mr.Peterson live a few times when I lived on the mainland, I think his recordings on the Pablo label captured him at the peak of his powers. My favorite is the 1981 live recording "Nigerian Marketplace," with Niels Henning Orsted-Pedersen on bass and Terry Clark on drums.
