As we come to this season of joy and Thanksgiving, I would ask all Audiogon members, especially aficionados of jazz & blues to remember the musicians without whom the hobby is meaningless.

The Jazz Foundation of America; http://jazzfoundation.org/ is "committed to providing financial, medical and legal assistance to those great jazz and blues veterans who have paid their dues by making a lifetime of this music and find themselves in crisis due to illness, age and/or circumstance." I encourage you to visit their website and read the stories of the musicians that they have helped including Fats Domino, Odetta, Clark Terry, Freddie Hubbard and many, many others.

I know that these are hard times, but I hope that members of the Audiogon community will consider a generous donation to assist those who have made our lives more beautiful.
