Is Rethm Maarga enough for my room - 24'x15.6'x9'?

Hi,

I have a dedicated listening room of size 24'x15.6'x9'. Is Rethm Maarga paired with a 10W EL-34 tube amp enough to fill the room? I prefer moderate to loud volumes. I mostly listen to Rock/Hard Rock/Pop/Indian Classical Instrumental Music. I prefer deep and tighter bass. Can Maarga's perform well for my music genre in the room size I have?

Thanks,
John.

Hi Srajan,

Thank you very much for your inputs. I am a very BIG fan of you and your reviews at 6moons :). I am going to meet Jacob George soon and going to have a detailed audition at his place in Kerala. I fear even the Saadhana may not give me the same bass attack a 12" woofer can put out right? May I know your opinion on Emerald Physics CS 2.3 in the same regards?

Thanks,
John.
Converted to meters your room is ca. 8 x 5 with 3m ceilings. Mine is 12 x 5.5 with slightly lower ceilings and the Maarga was fully capable of filling that space. The speaker is capable of low tight bass but due to its loading will never give the kind of 'in the chest' type attack front-firing 12" woofers put out. That's intrinsic to the design choices Jacob George made. But in terms of amplitude and extension, you'll hear everything that's on your albums!
