Is my Sonos 1 Connect the weak link?

I have Roon resident on my Synology NAS. It is wired to my Synology Wifi Router ( no way to run a wired connection, but solid wifi signals). The signal goes to my Sonos Connect which is connected to my Brysten BDA 1 Conveyor. This then goes wired to my Rogue Audio Magnum III. Speakers are Linn Magic. I have all my CD collection on my NAS so Roon can access Internet or resident music.

I have a NAS transport for my CD collection that goesto the Bryston and it seems a bit better than streaming through Sonos. And, of course, my Thorens turntable direct to the Rouge is killer.

How do I improve streaming?

Tomrk, critical listening is why I have the Rogue system. I totally agree that my Sonos system is wife friendly. But I want my good stereo to stream better. I guess there is no new to want it to tie into the other Sonos system.  Thanks

Thanks for that. The DAC is certainly old now. I will do the steamer then follow with a better DAC.

Thanks Rick. I do want better sound. I do like the ability to use Roon and access both high quality streaming and my music files. I was not aware that the Connect was making me waste my high res quobus streams. And I assumed that passing the Connect to my DAC would improve the clocking etc. but not if it doesn't hand off a decent bit rate.

I have a full Sonos Arc, Base and Amp speakers in my tv set up. The Amp is wired to Sonance bedroom speakers and also out to the porch. That is fine as a separate system for general back ground music. But my real listening system is my Cronos Magnum and I want it better. Where would a budget of $2000 get me in terms of better streaming, and access to Roon and my own music library n my higher end system? Thanks in advance.
