Is it possible.....

.....to have a cable go from the Digital COAX output (from blu-ray) to the AES/EBU input of a D.A.C.?

I had a spare RCA to XLR adapter, I installed it on the D.A.C. And then Hooked up a Typical RCA interconnect, but it did not work.

Any Ideas?

I did a search of the forum but did not find this thread, when I did my search I didn't use the term XLR so that is probably why. I called it AES/EBU.

But it did answer my question.
