Buy you a couple of used NAD components. Try the C370 integrated and the 512 CDP. You would be surprised the sound you can achieve for low bucks. They're one of each listed currently. I would consider both a really "Bang for the buck" item.
i would get the linn majik and the linn mimik cdp, i had this combo with the 1's and its a great combo...as long as your room is not huge......the majik is a clean 33 watter .....so take that into account.....late you can upgrade to a lk-85 or lk-100....and the majik can serve as a line stage...
