tubes would be great but... heat is a factor for me in the smaller room I have ans well as the upkeep for tubes. Sorry but I am more comfortable with Solid State as I listen to soft rock, blues and some jazz.
integrated or seperates?
I'm currently using a Classe CAP151 Integrated amp with an AR CD2 and Apogee Slant 6s. Would I improve my sound scape (width & depth) by changing to an AR combo (SS) like an LS3/D150.2 combo (that I am eyeing) or would money be better spent for power condtioning? opinions from users would be of grat help, Thanks.
