The A5 phono stage is good - but is moving magnet only. I own an A-5 and bought a Lukaschek step-up device for use with moving coil cartridges - It is now great.
Integrated Amp Phono sections
I have a Musical Fidelity X-150 integrated c/w a reasonably good Phono Section, I am looking to upgrade to the Musical Fidelity A5 integrated and need some references on the phono section....Anybody know anything on it? The source is the VPI Scout with the Clearaudio Aurum beta S cart.
