Sorry for the late response, I was out of town. I need to know how much you're willing to spend to make my recommendations. If I were in your shoes, I would pick up a used Rega Planar 3 or a P25. You will also need a quality moving coil cartridge (Sumiko Blue Point Special, Benz Micro Glider or Ace, Audio Technica OC-9). I would find a used quality preamp with a phono stage and a used tube amp. There are plenty here in Audiogon! Good Luck!
