I just purchased a used RAVEN and it is the most musical AES EBU cable I’ve had so far. Amazing cable. My experience quite opposite as yours.
Using it between Grimm MU1 and Chord DAVE.

Basically i'd like to get some insight into this ^ cable and what i can assume,
My former cable was Audioquest Raven. In my ears, not musical. To cold, to focused at the top end which made me feel this in the system was not creating harmony. It was more like looking at a dissection.
There is just no way of testing cables back and forth here. Buy - trail and error so to speak.
I heard Kimber Orchid may land me more close to Raven, which ofcourse is and was a no go!
