Haven’t done a direct comparison of the two, but the Phoenix Ethernet is an awesome upgrade. Not cheap, but also quite worth it if the rest of the system is up to par. I previously used an EtherRegen with LPS but the Phoenix provides a much more relaxed and articulate presentation.
Innous phoenix usb re-clocker or Phoenix ethernet switch
My question is a simple one, or is it?
If you had your choice of an Innous Phoenix Ethernet Switch or Innous Phoenix USB reclocker, which one would you choose? Why?
I started to go for the USB but then I spoke with a knowledgeable pro and he thought the ethernet switch would bring more bang.
I can find plenty of Information on the USB re-clocker but very little on the ethernet switch.
I am in a dilemma about which one to get,, if any!
They both clean up the signal, it's just which one is more necessary? the ethernet seems the smarter choice since it is the first audio signal to enter the system.
