Inline IC upgrade for Bat VK-60 tube amp

I want to upgrade the inline IC that runs from the board to the input connectors. I bought Cardas XLR connectors to put in it. Right now it has Belkin sheilded going to the connectors. I read through a few forum post and saw where someone just used a interconnect to do it. I'm thinkin silver wire or maybe just us a Cardas NR IC that I have. Any ideas or maybye someone that could make up a set of these in silver ??
