Infinity Cascade Vs. Intermezzo - Worth it?

Currently I have the Infinity 5.1 set up composed of the the model 9's, 7's and 3 center and an old JBL sub. I got the speakers on closeout a couple years ago brand new. I've been eyeing the Intermezzo line since they were released but I was just out of high school then and couldn't afford it. Currently, I'm looking into purchasing the Intermezzo line, but having a tough time deciding whether or not it's worth selling the Cascades to buy the Intermezzos, considering any Intermezzo I buy will have at least 6-8 years of usage. Also considering that the Intermezzo line are powered and how difficult it might be to get it serviced should things happen. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.
