Incredible - Rene Olstead debut CD
I picked up a new artist this week based on the recommendation of a CD store owner in Sagatuck, MI. She is Rene Olstead (TV show "Still Standing") who I believe is only 14 years old (you would never know it by looking at the cover). You all may have already discovered it, but I just ran into this one.
She does a variety of old standards including Summertime, Taking a Chance on Love, Someone to Watch over Me, and Sentimental Journey. Each is accompanied by excellent artists like Jeff Hamilton, Peter Cincotti (who also sings), John Clayton, etc.
