Currently have Vandersteen 2CE's, CJ tubed preamp, and SS amp, looking to add a subwoofer. Any suggestions--for items in the $500-800 range, used--would be much appreciated.
With Vandy 2CE's, the natural choice would be the Vandersteen 2Wq subwoofer, which can often be purchased for around $850. If you are not already familiar with the 2Wq sub, then go to the Vandersteen web site for an in-depth overview.
