ICs with slim RCA Barrels?

My Schiit Jotunheim 2 headphone amp has narrowly-spaced jacks. Don't know what Schiit is thinking.

Neither Acoustic Zen nor Cardas ICs will fit.

Wondering if there are brands noted for more streamlined barrels....

LOL, no. Maybe. My set was gold plated copper. I purchased in 2019. I thought, wood? I looked at their website. Looks like they cover the connector with wood. Why, I don't know. My connections are in the rear and no one would see them. They are great sounding cables, but never tried the new ones with wooden accents.

I asked because I've seen photos of their ICs with rca barrels that t looked like wood. And their DACs are housed in wood.

@stuartk

LOL, yeah, I saw that. Mine had no wood option/RCA barrel. Mine were metal, but they attached a smaller/narrower RCA connector for my Exogal Comet, which had the RCA jacks VERY close together.

Cheers

@dseltz

Have you heard the Less Loss DAC ? ? ?

It never seems to get mentioned on the forum.

I have not heard it. I used to live close (relatively) to Nashville. When first getting into upper MidFi/HiFi audio, COVID was just starting so I did not get a chance to visit any brick and mortar shops, but worked with Atelier 13 Audio. Constantin, the owner, is super knowledgable and super helpful. Atelier 13 Audio sells LessLoss products. Much of his equipment have demo models he can send you to audition. Great place to do business with as Constanin is super helpful, not a pushy/hard sell place at all. Genuinely loves music and although my system is likely not to change much, I always visit his webpage when looking for new equipment.
