ICs with slim RCA Barrels?

My Schiit Jotunheim 2 headphone amp has narrowly-spaced jacks. Don't know what Schiit is thinking.

Neither Acoustic Zen nor Cardas ICs will fit.

Wondering if there are brands noted for more streamlined barrels....

I used LessLoss IC before I went to XLR cabling. They made me a custom pair with narrow RCA jacks for no additional price increase. An expensive, though not outlandish, quality IC.

@bbroussard

Thanks. As mentioned I’ve opted to try Darwin, due to their slender barrels. Got a good deal on a pair used at a show.

@dseltz

Are those made of wood? If so, I can see how they’d be relatively easy to adapt.

LOL, no. Maybe. My set was gold plated copper. I purchased in 2019. I thought, wood? I looked at their website. Looks like they cover the connector with wood. Why, I don't know. My connections are in the rear and no one would see them. They are great sounding cables, but never tried the new ones with wooden accents.

@dseltz

I asked because I've seen photos of their ICs with rca barrels that t looked like wood. And their DACs are housed in wood.

@stuartk

LOL, yeah, I saw that. Mine had no wood option/RCA barrel. Mine were metal, but they attached a smaller/narrower RCA connector for my Exogal Comet, which had the RCA jacks VERY close together.

Cheers
