Hulu converted to 5.1 via DSP

My home theater uses DSP via processor and when I turn it off Hulu Broadcast is in two channel and not the best.  And then when I turn on DSP it magically transforms the sound causing the center channel to begin working.

For whatever reason Hulu has only limited 5.1 broadcasts which is sad.

So I guess this is a good reason to use DSP, peacock also has lousy sound and I will try to see if sound gets better what DSP if I ever find anything worth watching.

Curious if others Have had the same experiences where DSP becomes a very worthwhile pursuit.
