How would a Ayre KX-5 Twenty stack up against a Mark Levinson No 326s?

How would a Ayre KX-5 Twenty stack up against a Mark Levinson No 326s? Anyone compared these two side by side or even a KX-5 non Twenty to the 326s? I'm looking for the most refinement in a solid state balanced preamp below 10k "new".

My pleasure. I can't compare to the Levinson preamp but a friend had the Levinson integrated and we both were not crazy about it. Dark and kind of closed in. Not sure how the Levinson received Stereophile Class A rating like the Ayre Integrated but I'd take the Ayre over anything else at this point.
