The addition of the Sbooster inline filter requires the extra volt. I have that combination on my Weiss DAC205, which calls for 6 to 9 volts, set to 10 volts. No problem, so far.
HOW TO REPLACE THE CHORD QUTEST POWER SUPPLY WITH THE S BOOSTER MARK II
I have the Chord Qutest and am pleased with the sound, but looking to upgrade with a new Dac such as the Weiss 204 or I could upgrade the Chord with a new power supply such as the S Booster MK II. I'd be curious to hear the difference in sound. My question is where can I get step by step directions to install the S booster? I have no mechanical ability and would not be interested in cutting any wires because that could be a recipe for disaster. Would anybody be able to provide instructions or lead me to a place that has guidance on installation? Thank you.
