How to repair Kenwood KD 650 tonearm cuing lifter.

I have a Kenwood KD 650 "The Rock" vintage direct drive totally manual turntable. The tonearm cuing lifter lowers the tonearm by itself,it won't stay up, putting the stylus in danger. I bought some silicone damping fluid. Where do I place the fluid to help the cuing lever work properly? Could someone please help me with this problem? Thank You! Brian
