How long does it take for transformer smell to go

I just recently bought a barely used Ming Da amp so it previously had very little use.

Since it is still pretty new, the chemical smell of the transformer is very pronounce especially when they get hot after playing. I just hope eventually it will go away

Do you know how long it will take for the smell to go away? Do you have similar problem?

I think the smell is pretty toxic.
