how do older Mac tuners and CD players provide system level value today?

I am new to the world of McIntosh and have always dreamed of owning but could near afford. I now have the opportunity to purchase a vintage McIntosh system (amp MC2255, Pamp C33, Tuner MR80, CD MC7007, XRT20 speakers). Questioning the value of the tuner and CD as most of my listening will be vinyl and PC or streaming. i.e. do these components provide intrinsic value over more state of the art equipment?
