How do I use the KEF Kube 2 w/ my Denon receiver?

KEF mentions an LFE mode but not in the manual. The manual shows it connected to the sub out on the AVR to the Left input on the dub, so I'll assume this is the LFE input. In LFE mode, it should bypass the vibrate crossover. To be safe, set the crossover on the sub to it's highest setting to get it out of the way. Set phase to 0 and set Eq (bass boost) to 0. On the AVR, set the crossover to 80 or 100.

The easiest way is a tape loop. If you don't have a loop then take the jumpers off the back of your denon for the 2 channels you will be driving the 102's with. You'll need 2 pair of coax cables and out of the denon to the input of the kube then kube out to in on the denon. Make sure the receiver is unplugged before doing it and be warned KEF boosts bass electronically by something like +20 db at 5hz(it's been awhile) so the signal is sloping down from 20 hz to compensate for the rolloff. The kube is out of the system by 50 hz and really raises distortion in the bottom octave. in short the kube makes a poor substitute for a subwoofer and isn't necessary to use the speakers.

- KEF sattelite KHT-2005 5.1 speakersystem

OPTION 1.
The way I have connected my subwoofer to my receiver at this moment:
Speakercable of frontspeakers from receiver to sub-woofer and from
sub-woofer to frontspeakers.
Set the AVR1802 setup to Subwoofer=NO and frontspeakers=LARGE
(others=SMALL).
According to my reseller this is the best solution for all the sound
posibilities (MATRIX, 5CH STEREO, Dolby PLII, etc.).
