Hot Droplet?

Calling you audiophiles with Consonance Droplet experience--I have heard good reviews regarding the player but have also heard they run hot. Warm is ok but a room heater is not. What have been your experiences with this players reliability, sound quality and heat output?

I have spoken with a few others who have verified they run no hotter that a tube CD does and that the sound quality is amazing for the price.
