Horn speakers are really bright?

@ozzy62 I’m talking about only streamer no DAC 

so I was streaming with Cambridge Azur 851N ,cocktail Audio X45 and Chromcast to my DAC and to my preamp SimAudio P8 and I did not hear any difference 

So I was doing something wrong 😑 or my Speakers 😂

@roxy54 not really just boring 😂😂😂 the CA-2300 has 4 binding Post just like CF4/KLF 30 purposely for bi- wire   so I figured why not give it a try since both speakers is high efficiency and CLASSE was able to drive them without any issues

this new horn drivers don’t require any modifications 

Electro Voice compression need a lot of work to make it fit including bracing take all the woofers crossover and everything out little too much for me especially with two years old twins around me 95% of the time 😂😂😂

this B&C was recommended by a friend who try it and blow his mind 

the changes from original to B&C is bigger than any DAC , cables, PC and AMPS i have try with the exception of my Moon P8 Preamp 

No crossover changes

definitely agree 718 sounds different from CF4 but that’s the reason to get it 

I want something sounds different from klipsch WORLD speakers lol 😂 

actually 718 sounds much better with my CLASSE CA-2300 than Hint6 and yes the bass output is crazy for that little speakers 

I think I find the holy grail playing usher BE 718 and klipsch EPIC CF4 together sound so amazing I never experience anything like that in my room especially clarity pin point accurate and bass response 

my integrated Hint6 is powering 718 and Simaudio moon W7 is powering CF4 Hint6 is still doing the preamp duties

Epics is such unbelievable speakers I still can’t believe I pay less $1k for it 

I have twins 👯‍♀️ they just turn two that’s why there’s Velcro and sort of tape and modifications around all those equipment lmao 🤣 don’t look at my AVR I tape the volume control down 🤣😂🤣😂

i think I make some big mistakes when I was recording the KLF because I use Parasound Hint6 for preamp and the time I was recording there were surround speakers RS62II was connected to Hint6 so Technically four speakers are playing lmao 🤣 
yes I like my CF4 with CLASSE SSP800 
I have try everything to like CLASSE CP800 but I still prefer SSP800 over CP800 in two channel 
so I just sold  CP800 MK2

living Room set up is 7.2 with built in 2 channel lol Parasound Hint6 or P6  works like magic when it comes to two channel  bypass

I don't care if a system is unable to achieve rock concert listening levels; if my system ever sounded as bad a rock concert, it would be gone the next day.

my listen levels never pass 80dB 10 feet away 
especially with two years twins and 6 years boy all over me at any moment 😂😂😂

to me I think the strength of a horn speakers is able to sounds great @  low volume 
I use tone control in the night for low volume listen 

With my two horn set up I have try to switch one to different speakers but I haven’t got any full tower speakers with great dynamics  under 6k that I like

one of the speakers I may interested in future is legacy aeris but I can’t afford it 😂😂😂

I will definitely sell my KLF 30 if I got V1 lol 

I did little mods to both set 

I rebuild CF4 crossover with high quality one and replace drivers with Ciare HW321

 

on KLF 30 I did a lot 

I replace midrange drivers 

I replace the crossover with Bob Crites model

i replace diaphragm with titanium diaphragm 

I replace jumpers and binding Post 

I replace all 12" drivers with Ciare HW321

For my KLF 30 and and I was wondering how it sound on my CF4 since both use the same 12 inches drivers but CF4 use neodymium drivers

i try it and sounds good to me so I leave it on there 😂😂😂😂

So I don’t have any technical details to back it up only my ears

my CF4 crossover was removed and ship to Bob Crites to Rebuild with high quality capacitors

Still have my original drivers though

I do have ALLO USBRIDGE STREAMER with power supply I don’t hear any difference either 

to me the difference is able to pick in blind test yes there’s micro differences but doesn’t stand out

With Moon P8 and W8 I hear zero  noise from tweeters with my ears touching it lol 

I have own  McIntosh C52  Michi P5 Parasound JC2 P6 Hint6 ROTEL RC1590 Classe CP800 SSP800 and more still P8 is my favorite Michi P5 ROTEL 1590 is worse Preamp ever owned
