Hooking up a NAD 3020 v2 to a PC

Hi, first time poster.

I just bought a NAD 3020 v2 integrated amplifier and have Celef (Proac speakers) to go along with it.

I hooked up the system to my PC by simply using the PCs audio out and plugging the cable to the auxiliary inputs on the NAD. Dumb question: Is there a way to bypass the soundcard from the PC and use NADs DAC instead? The PC doesn't have an optical output and the NAD doesn't have a USB port.

I am just trying to get the best sound using Qobuz on my PC. Thanks in advance.

Regarding your last question about bypassing the PC sound card: on your PC, you might need to go to "Settings -> System -> Sound" and then select "Choose where to play the sound". Then, you may have to "Pair a new output device".

Another thought: to make this work, you may need to load the Windows drivers for the Doak Audio Pro unit.

Good luck, happy listening.
