Home network Fibre optic vs Ethernet

Hello,

I have the opportunity to re-wire my home including network.

I’m after any advice on fibre optic vs Ethernet, lessons learned, costs, anything you have.

I have 3 rooms to do. TV room, music, and home office/ garden room.

I was expecting to come out of the fibre in to a Ethernet switch converter and then off to the units. oh the challenges (joys) of having blank canvas. I’m also splitting out points electrical points.
