High sensitivity bookshelf speakers to pair with SET amp? Nearfield romanticism.

I am thinking of totally changing my setup to focus on more richness, midrange / tube magic at my nearfield desk setup. Right now I have ARC ref5se into pass x350.8 into ATC SCM7s. It sounds amazing but after I heard my Crack OTL (with black silk hd650) I can't get that incredible euphonic sound out of my head.

So I was thinking of getting a high sensitivity bookshelf speaker that plays well with tube amps and then getting a set power amp or integrated.

Thinking of those omega speakers (super 7 mk2). Any thoughts on this strategy or recommendations ? Thx

Hofmann's Iron Law

three parameters that cannot all be had at the same time. They are low-bass reproduction, small (enclosure) size, and high (output) sensitivity." Hofmann stated that designers could pick two of these three parameters, but in doing so, it would compromise the third parameter.

SET can be wonderful with large easy-to-drive horns or large full-range driver systems. I have pass gear, first-watt gear and SET as well as other amplifiers when using SET you need to greatly consider associated loudspeakers to get the best results. The comment all high-sensitivity speakers are way too colored is just wrong and is a faulty generalization.
