Has eanyone here tryed Taralabs zero gold I/C and omega gold speaker cables?,, I find these cables without peer!,, depending on a system, the nordost odin or the cables above have stratisphere real sound!, I personally have never heard better than these cost no object cables!,, cheers! |
@ rx8man, how would you know that? have you owned the nordost odin cables?, I like Tara better!, they are more musical and real sounding than the odin cable!,This is in regards to your post 4-11-13,,,eanyway,to me,unless you lived with the odin cable,I would have to here the high fidelity ct-1 to believe it! cheers! |

Thankyou genlemen, I want to listen to them, not buy them!,,I do not want to go the cable company route,they would keep my 5% of my money, I am building a second system, and am very currious about these high fidelity cables,, not to be closed minded here, I believe the Taralabs zero gold I/C and omega gold speaker cables I have on my main system would be in a totally better performance league than the fidelity cables!,, I have compaired the odin cable to these taras,, not that the odin was not good, the taras presented a better match for my system!, they were musical instead of analitical!,,were do I go listen to the fidelity cables? thankyou gentlemen! @ charles1dad,, I just got off the phone with the cable company, They said, High-fidelity cables are RCA only!, My main system only has XLR, and cast!, They said Rick will most likly develop XLR ends latter, that the ends is where most of his technlogy is at!, The cable company does not have the high-fidelity ultra cable yet, And to my astonishment, they said High-fidelity sounded very similar to Taralabs top cables!, when I told them that I had the Taralabs zero gold I/C, they said, none of the fidelity cables will beat the sound of the zero gold I/C, however, They did say that the ultra fidelity cable that is coming may be able to!, And of course, they said that it would all be system dependent!,, To tell you the truth, I am even more interested in High-fidelity cables now!,, all this is shocking news to me of how good these cables are after talking to the cable company!, Kudos to Rick!, Thankyou Charles1dad for your hospitality!,,, cheers! |
@ charles1dad,, I have a Krell 700cx amplifier, This is the amp to my main system, The amp only has XLR and Krell cast connections!,The good news is I am building a second system!, Thats where I would like to try High-fidelity cables!, The synergy with Tara, Krell,Ayon,JBL,, is on the main system is really something to behold!,I am quite happy with that system synergy!,, still in all,if rick comes out with balanced cable, I wont only try his RCA cables for a second system, I will try his balanced cable on the main system when he develops balanced cable!,, Happy listening! |

To me, The most exspensive High-fidelity cable is a good buy, Think about it, the most exspensive model is alot less than many cable brands top model cable!, I know, I have a cable at three times the cost of High fidelity"s best effort!, There are a couple of sellers offering High-fidelitys best cable here on the gon at a substantial savings, To tell you the truth, this happens to all cables, all brands are 40% to 70% off the full retail on the used market, including my cable!, How do you think I bought my interconnect cable?, here on the audiogon used market of course!, why pay $15,000.00 a meter new, when I got a deal of a life time at $5,665.00 a meter used, my cable was only a year old, then I had it authenticated with the Taralabs factory, thats how I found out the date it was made and etc..,, Talking about being happy with that deal!, I enjoy all my fellow members to save money!, why?, I am against all the high cost of cables, no matter the brand!, thats why I posted early this morning the grand news!, Good luck and Happy Hunting! |

@ charles1dad, Hi, I already know about the high-fidelity cables, I go back on this thread, Its not about what tops what, its about your flavor of sound you prefer, for my main system, The Taralabs best effort cables are staying!, they suit that system very well!, actually, alot of people do not know I like a few brands of cables out there, its funny cause they think I am one tracked mind on the Taras, in some ways maybe, in reality NO!, one cable brand may sound better on eany given system, we all know the synergy thing, there is no perfect anything in High-end audio!, many, many members that are on this thread have told me the wonderful news of the high fidelity cables, likly before you auditioned your first HF cables, I am happy for eanyone to get a satiesfying sound, thats what this hobby is about, getting closer to real music, congrats to you charles1dad, Happy Listening. |

@ TBG, Hi, In other words, that would be impossible to change electrical characteristics within a cable or componet with resonance isolation or resonace tunning, the impedence of any given componet or cable is by design of the brand and model of a cable or componet, I have many years in the field of resonance tunning, In the 90s, I gave seminairs thru out half the u.s.a. in the field of resonance tunning. |

@ Audiopoint, Hi, Thankyou for the post, good educational point about resonance control and isolation, however, all that did not explain how resonance tunning and isolation can change the electrical impedence of a componet or speakers, again, it can not!, the science of resonance is quite different than elecrical, thus have nothing to do with each other. |

@ TbG, Hi, No, not in between the speakers, I said between the speakers and the listener, In the middle of the room, If the soundstage is more forward than that or more recessed than that, to me thats not a sound compairable to a live musical event, I say that because I am a musician, and know what live music sounds like, virtual dynamics cables are forward sounding, role a thru c, not natural!, I have never played live or been to a live musical event where the music is in my face or so recessed to where it sounds as if its on stage, I wanted to know if the presatation is any of these, I know the resolution may be there, the tone may be there, presatation? |

@ Petieboy12003, Hi, I am interested in knowing what brand and model, year, of speakers you have mentioned, I know that this is a cable thread, I cannot help my self, Lol!, I like horn speakers, I do not own a pair currently, I use to own a pair!, I am a JBL user, thou the model I have has no horns, the top shelf models in the jbl camp are some of the very best speakers money can buy today!, they are Horn speakers. |
