Herron & Audio Horizons Linestages

I am considering the purchase of either a Herron or Audio Horizons linestage. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has heard and compared these two and what your impressions were. The new pre would be paired with a Bedini 25/25 driving a pair of Omega Super 8 Alnico XRS, and sources are a Marantz SA-11S2, two vintage tuners, and a Linn LP 12 with Ortofon Black 2M running through a Jolida JD9A. On this system, I listen primarily to small ensemble classical and jazz, solo instrumental, blues, and vocals. Thanks in advance!

haven't heard the AH stuff, but you can't go wrong with Herron's preamps. They are outstanding overall, and really outstanding considering their relatively moderate price. I had a 1a/166 and it was a sweet unit. Would love to get my hands on a 3a someday.

You can try the AH and return it if it doesn't work out.
