Help with speaker issue

Hi everyone.

I have Kanto YU3 speakers hooked into my Mac using AUX input and it makes interference static noises.  It has happened to me before occasionally  but the problem went away simply by turning it off and on a few times.

I uploaded the video here ->  https://imgur.com/a/yu3-static-noise-lX8xaAt  (please turn on the sound from the link)

Lately I was getting this issue much more frequently and doesn't go away for hours or even days. I tried different audio input (bluetooth), audio cables, power cable, power outlet and etc and nothing solves this issue.  Just by turning on the speaker without any audio input, this interference noise comes on immediately.

Could anyone please help me diagnose the issue here?

Thank you.

JK

@akg_ca  Thanks for the reply.

I contacted KANTO  and they said there's nothing they can do about it since the warranty has ended a long time ago.

Obviously  I was willing to pay for the repair or at least find out what's wrong with it so I could take it to local audio repair shop or something but no help at all. Their response was simply the speaker is definitely not working properly but they had no repair center and unable to diagnose and that's was end of it.

Oh well I guess I gotta look for a better quality speakers from now on.

Thanks again for the response!

lol the funniest thing is, just now, the speaker made loud "pop" sound when turned on and it's completely dead now. It still powers on but no sound whatsoever.

Thanks everyone for the inputs! I now know what to get on this black friday. wink
