HELP WITH ESOTERIC K-01

There were a couple of power surges last night, nothing different than previous storms, but now my Esoteric K-01 turns on, then after fifteen seconds turns off. The on-off button stays lit but the display is blank. It will not function. There seems to be no fuse to replace, etc. I will read the owners manual more carefully but it appears that the "Trouble Shooting" section refers to synching the remote, computer sync, etc. and not something such as this.

Anyone have any ideas? I will be calling Esoteric as soon as I take care of the rest of the storm chaos. thanks.
