Help Volume Crackle on Gryphon Integrated Amp

My Gryphon Callisto 2200 integrated has developed a loud noise/crackle when turning the volume up. It only happens on the left channel while turning the volume up. Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to fix it? It is a Microprocessor-controlled passive volume potentiometer.
