Help Project Debut II & III tables? Newbie?

I'm a Newbie to analog. Has anybody compared these tables? What is the difference, Information on the internet is very sketchy. "The Needledoctor" has conflicting information--On the same page the II and III are discussed as if they are the same. Could that be so. They seem to have the same manual.I had read a good review about the III and went to Tweeter and bought one--at least that's what I asked for. When I got home what I had was the II. Where they trying to pull one over on me? I bought at Tweeter because that's the only choice I have w/o driving a great distance.
