Help please...recommendations on affordable power

I have an entry level system except for my new Ohm Micro Walsh speakers.

I am trying out the Monster HTS1000. I bought it because it is the only brand sold at the superstores. I do notice a difference in picture quality and sound, but am thinking with your help maybe I could do better for the $150.00 the monster unit cost me. Is Furman an upgrade in quality? Is this all wishful thinking?

Jer,
IMHO, power conditioners have a greater effect on video than audio. I didn't know you had included your video set up with this.

If you have an entry level system, I doubt that a more expensive line conditioner would be worth it. What exactly are your components?
