THANK YOU BOTH for the replies! I have RCA splitters and Y-cables so I'll see which way works best.
Your quick replies are much appreciated.

Help needed with subwoofer hookups.
Similar to what reubent said, but using a different splitter and one less cable. Use a pair of Y-cables (splitter) like this to connect the pre out/power in after the jumpers are removed, one for the left and the other for the right, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004EBX5GW/ref=psdc_172544_t2_B005DL2OVE Then connect long RCA interconnects to the female connectors on the Y-cables, and run to the subwoofer. |
Does the SX-1025 have the pre-out/amp-in jumpers? If so, remove the jumpers. Put an RCA splitter on the pre-out. Connect a set of long RCA interconnect cables from one of the splits to the subwoofer line-level inputs. Connect another set of short RCA interconnect cables on the other split, then connect it to the amp-in on the receiver. |
