Help!!! I need a better amp for Scansonic MB1 !!!!!

Please help! I need a good amp for my Scansonic MB1 speakers. I have a 1981 RGR amp/preamp system, but want to update. Anyone have any hints? Was thinking Musical Fidelity m3i. Thanks!
