Hello, need help aligning cartridge on yamaha yp-b2

The biggest question I have right now is aligning the cartridge in the head shell. I'm a little confused if the protractor method and using an overhang gauge accomplish the same thing. Because I think I saw that when using a Stevenson protractor, that the cartridge screws may not be straight across evenly in the head shell, after the cartridge is lined up on both null points. But then I think I heard that when using an overhang gauge, that once the stylus needle is directly over the set point on the gauge that you would make sure the screws are even across before tightening. So if both methods align the cartridge correctly, then one method should be able to check the accuracy of the other, and that the screws would both line up the same way.

Dear @peterhaze476 :  choose almost any protractor and stay far aways of Stevenson alignment because is the one that gives the higher tracking distortions levels, you can choose Baerwald alignment.

What you need to align in the protractor is not only the stylus tip rigth at the protractor point but you need that the cartridge cantilever be aligned perfectly with the protractor vertical lines not the cartridge body and forgeret about the headshell screws position.
