Headroom is coming to market with a reference quality closed back can

I was speaking with them about it yesterday.  They will have a Kickstart around the beginning of the year.  They feel the prototype is just under the LCD 4, which for a can that will be under 1200 is amazing.  It's really a pretty can and looks comfortable.  Other than the planer drivers, they will be fully US made. Even the ear cups will be sewn in MT.  These guys are as good as it gets in headphone listening and I've done business with them since they started in the late 80's if I recall correctly.  Honest guys and they even have a 5 year warrantee on them.  They need the kickstart money as they have top measuring equipment and need to tool up to produce them.  They'll get it done I'm sure and they will sell the heck out of them, because they know what they are doing and they are pricing it at half of what others price their references at.
