HDMI Switch 4x1 vs Matrix 4x2

I'm considering getting a HDMI Matrix with output for a second zone. I can purchase a 4x1 Switch (and split it) for $75 while the 4x2 Matrix costs $375. Is it worth it? What questions should I ask myself before making a purchase?
